Uttermost

Saving to the uttermost,

Pleading our cause,

Jesus Christ offered himself

For sinners, once for all.

Nothing left undone,

No sin too vast,

Sin’s deadly grip broken

By Christ’s atoning sacrifice.

Our souls’ eternal rest,

Never to cease,

For our Savior lives

Forever to intercede.

Once and for all,

He offered himself.

Once and for all,

He tasted death.

Once and for all,

He paid sin’s cost.

Forever it is finished,

Forever our Great High Priest!
